She was able to answer all my questions and after a few emails and a phone call, I was able to quickly put my order in and pay a deposit the same day without even having to come in to the dealership, which was much appreciated. Viviana provided me several updates through out the build process, such as when the order was accepted by Chevrolet and the scheduled production week. When I came in to take care of the paperwork Viviana had everything ready to go. I went to CarMax in Kenosha to sell our old car. CarMax had offered us $9,500 but we needed to find a new car first. I went back to CarMax after we bought a new car and they told me the market had changed so the amount could be less. Plus there was a $99 fee to sell them our car. I just did not have a good feeling so went on Kelly Blue Book to see what the car was worth and got an immediate pop up window from Michelle Rendall at The Chevy Exchange in Lake Bluff with an offer. I admit that I was a tad suspicious at first but after I talked to her on the phone I decided to go to Lake Bluff on the way home. We met with Michelle and she could not have been nicer. This was the easiest process ever. She appraised our used car and made an offer. Michelle was very professional and made the entire transaction easy. We walked out less than an hour later with a check in hand. We were very satisfied by Michelle and the dealership. There was no pressure! In September 2020 I placed a GM Employee order for a 2021...
In September 2020 I placed a GM Employee order for a 2021 Tahoe Premier Duramax. At the end of December, the vehicle arrived at the Dealer and I arranged pickup for January 2nd. I was told that a porter backed it into a pole that morning and creased the rear bumper on the driver's side. They sent it out to a body shop and it came back with dirt in the paint and the body shop had scratched the taillight with a buffing wheel. Rafat agreed at this point to swap my bumper out with a new one when they received another Tahoe the same color. He gave me a "We Owe" to replace the bumper. Nine months later they never received another matching Tahoe and instead of getting a new replacement bumper cover and painting to match, they are telling me my only option is to try to fix it again. I don't think it is acceptable to purchase a $70k+ vehicle and have to settle to have a filled-in, repaired bumper that at this point will have been painted three times. So disappointed that coming from a family that has a combined 150+ years at GM that I'm not stuck with a poorly repaired truck and getting railroaded by the dealer that won't fix their mistake as they promised and make it right.
