2019 Chevrolet Camaro
Ever since Chevrolet entered the pony car competition in the mid 60s with the Camaro, it’s been the one to beat. If you’ve always thought about a Camaro but never actually moved on one, check out what the 2019 edition has to offer!
Even in stock trim, you get a 2.0 liter 4 cylinder that puts out 275 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. From there, you can go with a 335-horsepower 3.6 liter V6, a 6.2 liter V8 with 455 horsepower and 455 lb-ft of torque, or a supercharged version of the 6.2 V8 that puts out an astonishing 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque.
Depending on the model and trim level you decide on, you can choose from niceties like upgraded Brembo brakes, Recaro performance seats, a wireless charging pad, a power seat/window/locks/mirrors package, key fob with remote start, 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, Bose audio with an 8-inch touchscreen and much more.
As far as safety features, the ’19 Camaro received the NHTSA’s five-star rating – the highest possible. It comes standard with rear parking sensors, forward collision alert, blind-spot monitoring, rear-view camera and rear cross-traffic alerts.
Of course, when you think “Camaro” you think power and performance, and none of the Camaro drivetrains disappoint. Even the base-model turbo 4-cylinder gets you up to 60 mph in 5.2 seconds, and the monster supercharged V8 can do that run in 3.5 seconds. Fuel economy doesn’t suffer, either; the 4-cyl is rated at 30 mpg on the highway and the top-line V8 at 20 mpg.
Maybe this 6th-generation Camaro is the one you’ve been waiting for?
